As a kid, I remember window shopping women’s outfits I was dying to fit into, and wishing I could be bigger and older; now I wish for the opposite, oh how the tables have turned! I now see my 7 year old sister longing for the same thing; anything I wear, she wants to wear and anything I do, she wants to do. The mini me dressing trend is not a new concept but, with the rise of social media, you often see women and their daughters looking just alike striking a pose in their coordinating outfits on Instagram or Facebook. Matching mommy and me (or in my case, sister and me) outfits can be great for pictures or a fun way to bond for a girls day out. Coordinating tops are a great way to get the mini me look while still keeping your looks unique.
