We like to forecast the trends for designer girls clothes, which of course are pulled from adult runways and translated into adorable children’s attire. From the Runway to the Red Carpet we have been seeing pretty pastels all over for Fall and Winter 2014. We have lots of beautiful girls dresses in pastels for this season.
The baby blues, buttery yellows and powder pinks are usually what we see in the spring and summer (Easter anyone?) but things are really changing up this year. We have started to break the seasonal color molds and pastels are no exception. Expect to see them in traditional flowy dresses and skirts, but also some outerwear too.
Our first style of choice is this adorable little girls dress from Hannah Banana. It has a sharkbite hem along with tulle and applique lace detailing. Dress it up with some sparkly ballerina shoes and a headband, or dress it down with some leggings and boots. Too cute for fall!
Next on the list is always a great seller, Mustard Pie’s Fall 2014 collection has quite a few of these pastel patterns mixed in with their darker fall fabrics. Here is a great example of a fun light blue chevron print that we’ve fallen in love with this season.
