Just as a mirror reflects back our image, taking a look back at the year just past can be revealing. Sometimes we like what we see, but we also see changes. This past year held a lot of change for me personally. I’m learning to embrace change and the excitement and adventure that it can bring to my life. The biggest change I experienced in 2012 was that our family grew by two. My two oldest sons were married, so I gained two beautiful daughters-in-law. When my kids were small I always wondered how I would feel about the person they chose to marry. I am happy to report that I love both of these young women as if they were my own. With these marriages came a semi-empty nest for my husband and I, a change I’m not sure I like but I guess I’ll get used to.
Towards the end of 2012 I made a job change, coming to LaBella Flora. I’m excited about this new opportunity and couldn’t be more thrilled to be working for such a great company. I am experiencing all of the angst that we all feel when beginning a new job, but I look forward to the challenge ahead.
