Red Carpet Trends

On the evening of March 2nd, the world looked on with interest to watch the newest fashion trends develop on the red carpet of the Oscars. What they didn’t expect was for one trend to be so obviously prominent than the others. 😯 With 9+ female celebrities choosing skin toned dresses, it was apparent that flesh colors are this years new black! 🙂

However, here at La Bella Flora, we realized that the revelation at the Oscars shouldn’t be as surprising as it was. This season’s dresses are full of skin toned coloring, from ivories, creams, and peaches! Check out our favorites, and the ones we think are equal to any dress out there on the red carpet that night!

This creme brulee girls ruffled dress is from Isobella and Chloe. The ruffled tulle adds elegance, especially when combined with the empire waist. The ruffles remind one a bit of Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s very ruffled feathery dress.

This Tutu Du Monde dress, boasts of a darker color, magnolia. The skirt makes one think of a ballerina instantly, and the sparkles on the bodice are comparable to Sarah Paulson’s gown.

This dress from Le Pink is by far the most favorite dress here at La Bella Flora! 😀 It’s peach skirt is just lovely and the flower and butterfly embellishments faerie like. It also happens to look very similar to the most popular dress from the Oscars, Cate Blanchett’s dress! The butterflies are so alike the butterflies on her own gown! le-pink-girls-special-occasion-dress-1And that’s not all. Our inventory is full of skin colored dresses, perfect for any special occasion, and definitely red carpet worthy. Which dress would you send your girl out on the red carpet in?
