According to news reports, there were also some benefits from last winter. In many areas water tables are up; boosting moisture levels in fields, increasing crops. Lots of businesses flourished this winter. There was a business boom for many winter geared businesses – coat, glove, hat, and boot sales were up and don’t forget the demand for snow removal and road salt.
